{"id":2827,"date":"2018-08-23T01:58:01","date_gmt":"2018-08-23T01:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/?p=2827"},"modified":"2018-08-23T01:58:01","modified_gmt":"2018-08-23T01:58:01","slug":"akai-mpcx-eurorack-cable-snake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/index.php\/2018\/08\/23\/akai-mpcx-eurorack-cable-snake\/","title":{"rendered":"Akai MPCX Eurorack Cable Snake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/MPCX.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2832\" src=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/MPCX.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThis new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.akaipro.com\/products\/new-products\/mpc-x\"><strong>Akai MPC<\/strong><\/a> has gotten me pretty wound up.\u00a0 I am liking the new&#8217;er&#8217;,ish&#8217; flow.\u00a0 One thing I wanted to add pretty quickly on was a panel just for the CV\/Gate outputs right in my main rack and ditch the longer patch cables.\u00a0 So here is what I came up with.\u00a0 I am hoping for a sort of standard too, so hackers please listen in.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/MPCXeurocablesnake.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2829\" src=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/MPCXeurocablesnake.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nEight outputs and GND\/0V mean a nine pin din is perfect for this cable snake. Simply use a standard 9 Pin DIN serial cable and if you decide to build one for yourself, just use the standard 9 pin numbering. Output pin 1-8 is pin one through eight on the serial connector and pin 9 is Gnd\/0V.<a href=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/AkaiMPCXeurocablesnakemodule.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2830\" src=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/AkaiMPCXeurocablesnakemodule.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThis streamlines it into my setup nicely.\u00a0 Without costing a bundle too.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/AkaiMPCXeurocablesnake.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2831\" src=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/AkaiMPCXeurocablesnake.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe outside case mod is pretty easy to do and you don&#8217;t even have to detach all of the internal MPCX&#8217;s cables making it one of the quickest mods I have completed to a piece of hardware.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/MPCXeurocablesnake1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2833\" src=\"http:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/MPCXeurocablesnake1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIf you are interested in this mod, <a href=\"https:\/\/millionmachinemarch.com\/contact-us\/\"><strong>let me know<\/strong><\/a> and if there is enough interest I could do a run of kits.
